Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager to drive client acquisition and business development. This position is commission-only during the first year, based on a competitive commission model designed to reward performance and results. High performers may transition to a base salary plus commission structure after year one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Mersli’s client base.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach, networking, and referrals.

  • Lead client discovery sessions, presentations, and proposals that showcase Mersli’s services.

  • Collaborate with consulting teams to tailor solutions to client needs.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing.

  • Track sales activity, pipeline performance, and market trends.

  • Represent Mersli at industry events, conferences, and client forums.

 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

  • 3–5+ years of successful sales experience in consulting, professional services, or B2B solutions.

  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Familiarity with risk management, compliance, or operational consulting is a plus.
